To Whom It May Concern,

J. Lloyd Miller graduated from Columbia College Chicago in the year 2000. Shortly thereafter, he relocated to New Orleans to manage bars and restaurants, musical acts and venues. He once drove a van full of slumbering clowns from Los Angeles to San Francisco on a single hour’s sleep. He now resides in Western Massachusetts, where he operates a rural food co-op. He has been a finalist in the Tennessee Williams Festival’s Very Short Fiction contest, has been long and shortlisted in contests by Fractured Lit, and has earned an Author’s Fellowship at the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing.

A shockwave of recognition in a moment of make-believe crisis. Two cackling souls, electrified by the moment, darting in and out of traffic. The first drops of rain.
